SA5-DT is a wet vac drum top with a very deep vacuum. It fits onto a standard 55-gallon drum and will suction sludge & fluid from your CNC sump or pit.
The SA5-DT uses the same air venturi system we use on its big brother, the air powered Sump Shark. This suction system can create a suction lift of up to 26 hg (mercury). This is equivalent to pulling water through a column 350 inches (9 meters) deep. You may have to tone it down a little to make sure your 55-gallon drum does not implode. The CECOR’s 55-gallon drum (TX-55PL) can handle the power of the SA5-DT drum top. Moving up to 70 gallons of fluid & sludge per minute into a 55-gallon drum speeds up the sump cleaning process.
This drum top wet vac conveniently works on in plant air. You will need 1/2” air service with line pressure of 75 to 120 PSI (pounds per square inch) to get this type of performance.
When you purchase the SA5-DT it includes the following:
- Air Hose: 20’ oil resistant 1/2” air hose
- Suction Hose: 1-1/2” or 2″ I.D. x 16’ oil-resistant PVC suction hose including quick-disconnect coupler
- 3 Suction tools
- Automatic overfill protection
We recommend purchasing the optional TX-55PL Drum Tank with this unit. The TX-55PL is manufactured to withstand the suction depth of the SA5-DT.
